Proceeds from this season’s Sanctuary Charity Classic will go to our very own Sanctuary Golf Club Foundation whose mission is to support nonprofits that positively impact the lives of people in need living or working on Sanibel or Captiva, and to provide educational opportunity grants to Sanctuary employees and their families.

In 2020 to date, through your generosity, the Charity Classic enabled the Foundation to provide grants of $150,000 to:

  • F.I.S.H. of SanCap

  • Community Housing and Resources (CHR)

  • Children’s Education Center of the Islands (CECI)

  • The Sanibel School

  • Sanctuary Employee Scholarships

Our Honorary Chairpersons for 2021 are Jim and Mary Pouliot.  Many of you know them as Members of The Sanctuary as well as dedicated supporters of many area non-profits; it is both timely and fitting that they be honored for their many contributions to our community – thank you Jim and Mary!

We sincerely hope you will review the entire spectrum of opportunities in which you can join the fun and help redefine human needs on our Islands. Please consider including The Sanctuary Charity Classic as one of your philanthropic endeavors for 2021.

On behalf of the Club and Foundation Board of Governors, along with the Charity Classic Committee, we thank you for your consideration and support.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call Jim DiMarino at the Golf Shop (239-472-6223) or email him at jdimarino@sanctuarygc.net or Michelle Cote at mcote@sanctuarygc.net.

After much consideration the Gala Committee and the Foundation Board have decided

a live event would put members at risk due to Covid-19.  Instead we will be sending out an appeal letter to our Members on March 1, 2021.  Thank you for your continued support of the TSGCF and we look forward to celebrating with you in 2022.
